The CNN Push For Chinese Prestige

July 31, 2020 By Conn Williamson

Media magnate Ted Turner endorses the one world philosophical movement and the lucrative bounty.

As the prodigious dragon lurking in the Far East unleashes a summer barbeque inferno furnace of destruction towards the global economy, the basic cauterizing principles of fire are withheld in failing to sanitize the affliction of corruption and bureaucracy omnipresent within the marketplace.  With Hong Kong now at the whim of Beijing through unchecked legalism, and the continued politicization of the Covid-19 virus, the pecuniary channels are reeling from the perpetual volatility of society, and the mainstream media only strives to perpetuate this tedious excuse for a fulfilling existence in experiencing a renaissance of audience numbers and advertising dollars.

Compromising matters, the appropriately named Chinese News Network, or Communist News Network slang around the virtual water cooler for CNN, is doing its best to maintain the despicable and insufferable label of “Hanoi” Jane Fonda, in spewing opinion-laced industrial style propaganda branded as legitimate news.  While the heavy production and broadcast of slanted content is not as blatant as Fonda’s unpatriotic and damaging public testimony towards American POW’s in Southeast Asia, the lacking evidence of subtlety within the international news arm of the network, especially business reporting, is a disconcerting reality that threatens the future of objectivity, and indirectly promotes tangible threats to the livelihood of US citizens. It pays to be on friendly terms with the Communist party and the central government, but at what cost?

Taking a page from the Chinese template of subversion and brainwashing rhetoric, the CNN treatment of Asia’s largest economy features a lack of overall criticism or negative posturing in subjectively reporting on a system dominated by the stranglehold of an implacably savage central government, and the doctrine of the Communist party.  In winning a trade war, why allocate billions of dollars towards resources, when one of the largest cable news networks on the planet will hire and feature a foreign operative? The myriad of transgressions emanating from the vicious mouth of the maladjusted dragon already include the birth of the Coronavirus, a steady stream of misleading information packaged as fact, a scheming underhanded attempt at establishing invasive nonnative plant species on the North American continent through the mail, surveilling campaigns facilitated through consumer electronics, a thorough hacking bot presence on major social media outlets, and the waste of time and energy within the US legal system to force the hand of legal emigrants in returning to the totalitarian state. This list does not even scratch the surface of the damage that the Silver carp has inflicted on the ecosystem of American lakes and rivers, or the audacity of the PLA setting up shell companies to fund defense research projects, and countless other examples of a reckless nation that is allergic to accountability.

Globalists have no genuine answer when responding to the question of why the US and Europe continue to tolerate the insufferable actions and human rights violations in continuing to turn the other cheek by doing business with a proven time and time again evil empire that incorporates the entire Myers Briggs personality profile of a sociopath. History seems to conveniently forget that the majority of China’s native minority groups casually referred to and still label other members of other races as “barbarians” or “yěmán rén, a major blow to the core values of politically correct advocates.

CNN Asian market specialist and reporter Laura He is apparently no stranger to the propaganda machine, and regularly pens financial news stories that are overwhelmingly favorable to Beijing and China’s economic practices. The employment of the journalist and the circumstances surrounding her professional career is indicative of widespread issue of media companies failing on the hiring front, or deliberately stacking newsrooms serving to achieve and ulterior motive.  He, who’s biography indicates that she earned a degree from Stanford, and was previously employed by the Chinese tech giant, Alibaba, recently posted an article that argues that a strong Chinese economy is beneficial to the rest of the world. Looking at the history of the content released by the journalist is like going through the archives of Xinhua and unrelenting endorsement of the world’s second most populated county.

A CNN screenshot of Laura He’s financial articles. Objectivity is in the eye’s of the beholder.

The deplorable audacity of Ted Turner’s empire to employ an individual in the financial news department with nationalist ties and an interesting dossier within the Chinese empire is overshadowed by the gullibility and oversight of the CNN audience in not conducting a simple :30 second web research campaign to achieve clarity and piece of mind when combatting coercive rhetoric.

Similar to US counterpart, the giant of Amazon, Alibaba is a respite for unabashed consumerism in the Pacific rim, and following the footsteps of the Bezos empire, has mainstream media holdings.  According to her CNN bio, He started her career in media as a worker bee at Xinhua before joining the South China Morning Post, an Alibaba syndicate, as a reporter specifying in financial markets with a concentration on Asia. Interestingly, the South China Morning Post was a staple of pro-Hong Kong content before being absorbed by Jack Ma’s Alibaba empire in 2015. Ma, one of the wealthiest tycoons in China, is also a known member of the Communist party. As a conflict of interest with a tyrannical government is never a wise move, especially for hybrid capitalist and party member, the paradigm shift from promoting and embracing the independence of the financial zone to echoing the agenda of Beijing was a prelude to the recent guerilla warfare offensive in neutralizing Hong Kong’s legal system.

He penned this glorified press release posted as a CNN article in response to Ma raising billions in capital from proceeds gained from the 2019 sale of Alibaba shares on the Hong Kong exchange.

As CNN regularly fails in the ratings game, yet excels at proliferating information that barely navigates through the hazy field of ambiguity in coalescing with truth, the disconnect in executing hiring practices which promotes diversity within the newsroom, yet defies sensibility, leaves the discerning viewer with more questions than answers. Skeptics call that terrible journalism based on quotas and not qualifications, while optimists claim that regular occurrences of platitudes spark dialogue and debate, despite favoring a specific perspective. In the end, it’s all about free trade and money, as entitlement clashes with opportunity.
