Last night’s monstercast was another home-run. Joining me in hour one for segment two I invited Captain Matt Bruce, host of the overnight hit syndicated talk radio program, The Captain’s America-Third Watch. Of course, Matt is based in Tampa and broadcasts his program from my hometown station, Salem’s AM 860 The Answer in Tampa, Florida. In case you’ve missed it, Tampa is experiencing a serial killer on the loose in the Seminole Heights neighborhood and Matt gave us a chilling update.
Later the same hour I spoke with author and violent crime survivor, Liz Lazarus whose book Free From Malice is a work of fiction based on her real life experiences. Liz is a great 2A advocate and big supporter of The Well Armed Woman.
Hour two brought the amazing and brilliant AWR Hawkins, award winning journalist from Breitbart News. As always, AWR brought voice to his news columns. We started with a happy ending story and ended discussing Ryan’s failure to bring national reciprocity to the House floor.
Hour three was a small roundtable discussion with George “The Mad Ogre” Hill talking hardware, in particular, the venerable 1911. You’ll absolutely love my failed attempt to “stump the Ogre” when George answers my question before I even have a chance to ask it. There’s a reason he’s one of America’s greatest gun experts. Neil McCabe of Big League Politics joined the conversation later in the hour and gave us an update from Capitol Hill.
