A winner has finally been determined in Greg Ever’s grasp at an ideological stand and garnering ratings. Ever’s announced in the aftermath of the Orlando Nigh Club tragedy through his campaign for Congress, that he would be giving away an AR-15 via a social networking contest. The promotion did not go public without a hitch, as Facebook removed the original contest post. The social networking giant has come under heavy scrutiny recently for influencing trending news stories and policing pro-gun content.
The current member of the Florida State Senate possesses an impressive track record as an advocate for the Second Amendment and has authored two pieces of gun legislation which have been enacted into state law. Evers is in the running for the congressional seat of retiring Jeff Miller.
