GERMANS ARE MAD! Guns And Pepper Spray ‘Flying Off The Shelf’

August 3, 2016 By Erik Walters

This Is What Looking After Yourself And Your Family Is Beginning To Look Like In Germany

Non-lethal gas pistols, mace, pepper spray and other self-defense devices have been in high demand in Germany ever since the sexual assaults in Cologne and other parts of the country on New Year’s Eve.

The revelation that migrants from north Africa were behind many of the attacks has caused consternation in a country which, since the atrocities of Nazism, has been sensitive to the plight of minorities and the use of weapons. One long-term German immigrant said:

“In one night in Cologne, Germany’s welcoming culture was destroyed. There is a new kind of racism here that is effecting all of us from migrant backgrounds.”Screen-Shot-2016-02-18-at-2.46.24-PM

The sense of security German residents have now enjoyed for decades is slipping away. In harsh contrast the danger from hostile immigrants has sparked a run on self-protection devices in a country where such hostility has not crossed their mind in decades. “Normally it’s full here but now you can see that it’s empty,” said one protection device shopkeeper of his display cases, “a lot of women are coming to us and a lot of older people.” One shopper said:

“I’m worried about my wife, but everywhere I’ve been is sold out of pepper spray. I’m not a racist, but I think women now need to protect themselves.”

Many Germans put their trust in their government, particularly Angela Merkel, to provide the stability and security they holds so dear, yet most Germans think the migrant situation is spiraling out of control.

“The migrant culture has thrown the EU into crisis and even this, it’s most powerful nation, is struggling to find a way out.”

The Merkel government has been accused of failing the people of Germany when they opened their door to over a million newcomers without considering the impact at home.

“I believe the challenge is huge,” said Merkel, “and if a challenge is huge it will trigger fears and concerns. The first step in addressing them is reducing the numbers. But we will not do it alone. will will do it along with other European partners.”

In spite of the severity of the problem and the anti-Merkel protests directed at her for bringing this plague upon the country, many Germans have a deep seated trust in Merkel’s ability to solve even a problem as malignant as this one.

“We can do this,” said Angela Merkel a few months ago. Would she still say that now?
