Nearly two weeks have elapsed since Russian exile and former spy Sergei Skripal, and his daughter Yulia, were found unconscious by authorities on a public bench in the English city of Salisbury. The younger Skripal was showing alarming medical symptoms of distress, including foaming at the mouth, completely unresponsiveness, and eyes set in a near death stare. In the most frightening of developments, medical staff at the local emergency room, determined that the father and daughter were victims of a chilling attack onset by a deadly nerve toxin, the biological weapon manufactured specifically in Russia.
In something out of a pandemic horror movie, a British team of specialists clad in hazmat suits, raced to decontaminate the area and over 21 personal were tested for evidence of the vector. While the family and the unfortunate first responder to the crime scene, remain hospitalized in intensive care, the assassination attempt is just one instance in a series of deadly incidents involving Russian nationalists on British soil, and the likelihood of discovering an indirect link to the fatal calling card of Vladimir Putin gently flailing in the breeze of the Salisbury Plain is as apparent as the corruption surrounding the Sochi Winter Olympic Games. The cloak and dagger intrigue and skill of the espionage community behind the battlelines, has devolved into a ruthless and blatant bloodbath, lacking subtlety or any evidence of nuance.
The BBC reports that UK law enforcement personal are now personally contacting and warning Russian exiles, in the wake of the attack on the Skripals and the murder of businessman Nikolai Glushkov on March 12. Sources have indicated that Russian influenced foul play may be tied in directly to up to 14 deaths in the UK of former members of the Russian intelligence community and the mafia, as Moscow is clearly set on permanently on utilizing brazen indiscretion in cutting ties with individuals in possession of state secrets.
The use of the complex, volatile, and lethal nerve agent, Novichok or A-234, boldly administered to the intended targets, is a clear indication that former KGB director Putin and colleagues are formidable adversaries to former associates as well as the entire free West, as the ruthless and cold blooded approach to liquidating assets is a metaphor for the grandeur vision of world domination. As the North Korean regime and figurehead Kim Jong Un are the popular poster child as the epitome of a true enemy, the Russians must not be overlooked on a software hacking, intelligence or military front, and now that Moscow has announced plans for a perpetually flying nuclear ICBM, it is time to be wary.
