The directive is certainly clear for news staff and reporters of the global media in following protocol when encountering sometimes factual information about an anomaly, either file the existence of the inexplicable circumstances under the umbrella of the climate change lobby or indirectly weave an intricate, controversial, and of course heavily ambiguous theory involving an ominous scheme carefully orchestrated by the Republican party to ultimately spread evil in the world.
A recent BBC article provides the latest evidence in the kangaroo court of media bias in reporting, as the carcass of a tropical shark apparently washing up on a beach in the Southern UK, was the subject of a recent article. Of course armchair climatologists will have a field day with the story’s misleading title of “Crocodile Shark discovered in UK waters for first time.” Fact, according to reports, the carcass of the shark was “discovered” on a beach by a family and was obviously well past the last spasms of rigamortis. While climate alarmists will begin salivating upon noticing the title of the article pop-up in various search engines, and while some (most) will not bother to read the full text, the social networking fireworks and theatrics will commence with the usual indictments against oil companies, the “establishment” and all golfers except Tiger Woods. The larger news conglomerates are extremely cogent in utilizing a complex and orchestrated system of click-bait in facilitating controlled hysteria.
The writer of the article does not directly mention that the actions of humankind may have led to the unfortunate travel plans of the Crocodile shark specimen exploring the moderately cold waters of the English Channel as an alternative to the specie’s normal habitat in tropical, but the inclusion of the title “Warmer Waters” as a segue to the latter part of the column sends mixed messages to the reader.
While the phrase can simply be interpreted that the shark was literally a long way from home, the author leaves the door wide open for the passive brainwashing over the last two decades by the environment movement. Filling in the hidden implications of “warmer waters”, the two words actually apply to the idea that somehow humans are directly responsible for potentially extending the range of a historically tropical species to the seas of Northern Europe. Of course this is but a half-truth.
A riveting and unparallelled theory as to the alleged miscalculation of the shark when travelling thousands of miles off course and ultimately washing ashore in the UK is most likely explained by the direct actions of a fisherman or boat owner returning from the South seas simply discarding the carcass overboard. Of course logic is but a rare requirement when navigating the contemporary school of journalism.
