This weekend’s Armed American Radio Monstercast from the Crossbreed Holster Studio had my planned topics redirected as a result of the then breaking Texas church shooting. As the largest pro-gun rights program airing in its time slot in hundreds of cities across the nation on nearly 200 radio stations and another 177 cable radio network stations, AAR was the only program focusing and discussing the unfolding breaking news in real time from a pro-rights perspective.
This made the lineup not only epic, but at the time, the most powerful radio lineup on the airwaves. Guests included the founder of the Second Amendment Foundation and the Citizens Committee for the Right to Bear Arms, Alan Gottlieb in hour one, AWR Hawkins, award winning journalist from Breitbart News in hour two and an absolute classic AAR Roundtable throwback to the early days of AAR programming with original panelists David Codrea, George “The Mad Ogre” Hill, and Neil McCabe.
