This Is What They Are Doing To Your Drinking Water In The Political Cesspool Of California

March 10, 2018 By Conn Williamson

The only verifiable man made climate change in the Golden state is a direct consequence of government bureaucracy, leading to artificial drought.

As 40% of the annual rainfall amount flows into the Pacific Ocean as unutilized runoff, because of federal and state regulations do not allow for an adequate number of functional catchment devices to harvest the precipitation, the agricultural community and residents face the arduous and frustrating challenges of navigating through a treacherous maze marked by regulations and subversion. The rallying cry of “Give me irrigation, and make some sense,” has echoed for the last 5 decades from the valleys of abundant sunshine with no limitations of growing seasons, and the lush and sculpted neighborhooed landscapes influenced by the coast.

With no thanks the three headed monster of the EPA, the environmental movement, and lawmakers, residents now face a different and more ominous foe in fighting for the future of the municipal drinking water supply, as the beast, lacking a conscience and the very basics of logic, has designs on inflicting further damage and tangling the already impossible knot tying up the state’s self-inflicted water crises in a messy bow resembling hopelessness.

Fox News lays out the plan of the aptly named California State Water Resources Control Board, to add volumes of recycled water from sewers to 36 state reservoirs in an effort to increase “drought resiliency”. Apparently, the regulation supported by two senate bills, will assist in “building local self-reliance and providing more sustainable, reliable water supplies, as outlined in Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr.’s California Water Action Plan.”

You get what you elect.

The official press release from the Control Board directly addresses climate change as a cause of drought. So rather than creating more surface volume and cubic footage for harvesting rainfall, the state, coaxed by lobby groups and the enticement of funding from the feds, is launching a complex and unfeasible regulatory process in pushing for an increased presence of reclaimed resources within the municipal water supply.

The ingrained and contrived nature of the management of the state water infrastructure is mind numbing. The obvious, yet impossible eloquent solution is completely ignored in that building more reservoirs will provide a sustainable and safe abundance of resources. This breach in reason is exacerbated by a state agency’s official interpretation of the status of the reservoirs is a drought crises, and only expensive and complex measures will solve this alleged problem. The reservoirs are literally being used as a physical manifestation and tool of indoctrination for the implementation of self-serving policy in generating tax payer funding, and with the legislative framework adopted and approved by lawmakers, the connotations of drought have effectively been legally tied-in with the water supply, giving the state a powerful tool. A mere manipulation of water levels can alter the political and financial landscape. The nightmarish consequence of such a reprehensible and deplorable reality, equates to the state government being in complete control of the allocation of the resource to agriculture, industry, and residents, rather than in a position of management, and individual water rights face the perpetual threat of being obliterated without explanation. Imagine that, a bureaucracy coddling precious legislation over reality and fact in rubber stamping policy which serves the purpose of the organization and not the people. The metaphor that pure government rivals the characteristics of an ant hill or a termite hive is never so apparent. In chilling fashion, as the biological entity grows in population and infrastructure, the individual organisms effectively lose their individuality and has the generations pass, the only clear directive that survives, is to sustain the whole of the colony at all costs.

The government in California does not want to employ the most simple solution in alleviating the self-induced water issue, as elected officials realize that the construction of additional reservoirs does not offer a feasible alternative to the current flawed and complicated system funded by millions of tax payers and the deep pockets of George Soros and the green movement. The only viable idea of a renewable hydrological resource, is that politicians can play the “drought” card as a strategic public relations tool in lobbying to constituents, and appear has effective leaders in adopting dubious environment policy that appears to reconcile the issue and in the end everybody is happy as the faucets continue to flow and the human footprint is limited. The ace in the back of the pocket is of course the State Water Resources Control Board, which offers both a possible life raft during a scandal, and an official sounding board for idealism, which is disturbingly linked directly to state law.

Unfortunately for state residents, the millions of gallons of reclaimed outflow ready to infiltrate state reservoirs to combat the apparent drought cannot be reversed, as it is now law.
