The Tepid War- Democrats Once Again Irk China’s Leadership Cadre

April 11, 2023 By Conn Williamson

While both major US political parties remain afflicted by the presence of multitudinous demagogue narcissist career politicians, the Nancy Pelosis’ and Mitch McConnells’ of the ideological theater remain revered by colleagues.

And then there is the China problem.

As federal and state governments have regularly botched the tenuous relationship with Beijing in failing to employ a tough love strategy through an oblivion to history and logic, the prodigious dragon is nearing a 70 year hunting quest of capturing the prey of Taiwan.

In a blatant copycat crime of diplomatic indiscretion, Speaker of the House of Representative Kevin McCarthy repeated a dreadful performance by his predecessor Pelosi in making the United Nations seem like an innovative start-up compared to his latest blunder. The Democrat welcomed Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-Wen with open arms in hosting the political dignitary in a state visit to California, inciting the Chinese to publicly announce military training maneuvers in surrounding the island nation. While this is not the first time that the Communist administered People’s Liberation Army (PLA) has deployed ships and planes in close proximity to Taiwan, the irony is lost on liberals that Pelosi’s visit to the country just 8 months ago, resulted in an aggressive response by China’s central government. Apparently, extremist elected officials have serious short-term memory issue stemming from the inception of the peace movement groomed by the accumulation of resin within the synapses.

While Chiang Kai-Shek’s political sanctuary exists as the fundamental and ingrained prize of legacy Communists on the mainland, with the heavy presence of high tech and manufacturing facilities, businesses in North America and Europe invested in the Taiwanese economy are watching the developing situation with a pessimistic wariness. Combined with the PLA constructing military bases and massive combat infrastructure on islands and atolls in the South China Sea, the pressure has been mounting on Taiwan’s armed forces and Western allies to diminish the threat of a Chinese invasion. Like wasp’s disturbing a late-Summer barbeque, the PLA fighter jets annually buzz the southern boundaries of The Republic of China (ROC) in the skies above the Pratas Islands, just 270 miles to the Southwest of Taiwan. While China’s military leaders claim that the territory administered by Taiwan’s government is in a “gray area”, the consistent roar of the planes is ceremony for coercion and the inevitable attempt by Beijing to commence a vast hunting operation resulting in global chaos.

And the US has a politician problem.

As McCarthy pulled a veritable “Pelosi”, sending international relations back into the stone ages, rogue governments are eagerly salivating that the Taiwan situation will spiral out of control, leading to Kim Jong-un’s official lookalike to once again taunt the North Korean propaganda cheerleaders at the Winter Olympics. With all the subtlety of prominent Democrats embracing policy and stipulations that encourage totalitarianism and proportional human rights atrocities, the anthesis movement to patriotism enables the stifling of free will.

While Mao vowed to poach Taiwan and all its vast manufacturing resources, Xi Jinping, a pupil of the dictator’s indoctrinating prose believes that is destiny that the island will yield to the will of the mainland during his unprecedented tenure in juggling the central government, the Communist party, and the PLA. Recourse may exist in the reality that decorated generals unable to pay and feed their troops are currently touring the regime and demanding reform, which has garnered the attention of party officials, as the military figureheads literally have their hands on the trigger, and a moderate coup may come into fruition.

With the internecine running rampant in the Forbidden city, while China’s armed forces are loaded with the latest next-battle technology, the dragon may be compromised and suffering from a disconnect between brain and body, as the two organs are gravitating in opposite directions. As those possessing common sense in the West continue to monitor the deteriorating environment in the waters of the South China sea, prototypical voters swayed by the trending and not competency are at least somewhat complicit in the ugly game of “Risk” currently being played, and a tedious future threatened by ceaseless bureaucracy.
