Trump Shares A Warm Moment With Slain Police Officer’s Family
US President Donald Trump recognised and consoled 90-year-old Adrianna Valoy, the mother of fallen New York police officer Miosotis Familia.
President Donald Trump spoke at the 37th Annual National Peace Officers’ memorial service on Tuesday. After addressing the attacks on police officers, Trump mentioned that the family of Miosotis Familia, who was shot and killed in his police car in New York City, was in attendance.
He stopped in the middle of his speech, pointed to them in the crowd, and asked them to come up on stage.
“To your entire family, it is such an honor to have you up here,” he said. “We weren’t going to bring you up, but I looked at you in the audience and I said, ‘You have to come up.’”
