The 31st annual Gun Rights Policy Conference will be held this weekend in Tampa, Florida but Second Amendment activists who can’t be there will be able to watch the whole thing, thanks to live streaming via YouTube.

This year’s conference will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Tampa. Activities kick off Friday evening with a reception, and the main event runs Saturday and Sunday.

The annual event is sponsored by the Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) and Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms (CCRKBA). It typically attracts hundreds of the nation’s most devoted Second Amendment advocates and activists from across the nation. This weekend’s event also takes on an international flavor with a panel on global gun control featuring George Uchaykin, president of the Ukrainian Gun Owners Association.

Mark Walters, host of the nationally-broadcast Armed American Radio program, will moderate Saturday’s program, while Peggy Tartaro, editor of Women & Guns magazine, is Sunday’s moderator.

The weekend gathering features a packed agenda with representatives from virtually every major national gun rights organization, plus many of the most active state groups. More than 75 speakers are on the program, which kicks off at 8 a.m. (EDT)/5 a.m. (PDT) on Saturday and may be watched here:

Sunday’s activities will begin at 8:50 a.m. (EDT)/5:50 a.m. (PDT), and may be watched here:

The program has a critical importance this year, with the national elections looming in six weeks. There will be panel discussions on federal and state affairs, working with the media, ongoing legal actions, reversing school disarmament, urban outreach, building state coalitions, 3-D printing, gun rights and the LBGT community and much more.

The brainchild of nationally-recognized gun rights leader Alan Gottlieb, this conference has grown over the past three decades to be one of the most important Second Amendment events on the calendar. Gottlieb founded SAF and serves as its executive vice president. He is also the CCRKBA chairman.

Highlights of this year’s event include awards luncheon presentations by David Keene, former president of the National Rifle Association and Opinion Page editor for the Washington Times, and attorney Alan Gura, winner of both the 2008 Heller and 2010 McDonald Second Amendment cases before the U.S. Supreme Court.
