And now with the existence of industrial sized social networking platforms, we can author asinine statements in the heat of the moment, before thinking better of the bad choice and deleting the post. Hence is the first commandment of the internet doctrine comes into play. “The internet does not forget.”
The Daily Caller reports that Missouri senator Maria Chappelle-Nadal, a democrat serving the suburbs of St. Louis, posted her unabashed and concise view of the president, “I Hope Trump is Assassinated!” The thundering rhetoric was brought forth in an exchange with a leftist colleague on that social networking site that we will not mention by name. Chappelle-Nadal, removed the comment, but not before a crusader for justice screen captured the online dialogue. The secret service is reportedly investigating the propensity of the reckless politician from making the ridiculous statement while supposedly serving her constituents.
Numerous politicians have asked Chappelle-Nadal to resign, but of course she has refused for all the right reasons, that are quickly becoming bulletin board material against extremist liberals. Her claim that the stupidity was posted on her personal page, allegedly removes here from any scrutiny or accountability in crossing an invisible line that is usually akin to political suicide.
