You Won’t Believe What This Bad Boss Wasn’t Fired For- The Insanity Of The Extremes

March 3, 2018 By Conn Williamson

The careless herd of Washington State voters, and with all negative connotations applicable to the word “collectively”, in passing by a Don King like hefty hair product volume majority, a $54 billion tax payer funded abomination of a mass transportation bill that will surely adhere to the promises of the instructor at the local hot yoga studio in Belletown, of no blatant cost overruns, has produced another gem.

If the salty and sorrowful truth is not enough that the megaproject will in all probability never see completion by the next geologic age, the head boss man of the chaos, was recently reprimanded for all of the wrong reasons, in a testament that the marine fresh air and mountains, somehow compromises the higher brain functions, especially with the very independent and caustic hipster vote.

Crosscut shares the unbearable developments at the head office of the regional transit authority, Sound Transit, and the fate of CEO Peter Rogoff, in the wake of what should be an epic scandal. Instead Rogoff, who demands a $328 thousand annual salary to mismanage the fleecing of the abundance of tax payer funds, got off easy, in a head scratching and monumental boneheaded narrative, which highlights the worst of the politically correct movement. The Sound Transit brass decided to negate his North of $30 thousand bonus, not for the heinous series of damaging cost overruns, construction delays, and complete ineptitude in wasting billions of capital in less than 24 months, but for his apparent “abrasive” management style in harming the feeling of coworkers. Rogoff’s professionalism is allegedly marked by a countenance so icy, that allegedly the NOAA and Greenpeace is pushing for a study to confirm if he is responsible for man made climate change in promoting glaciation.

Complaints from fellow employees included that he used the word “honey” in emphatically disagreeing with the point of view from a female staff member. Hell, the workplace atmosphere has deteriorated to a point of insanity and hypocrisy in the Pacific Northwest, that memos regarding strong facial expressions are clogging the in boxes of human resource departments and spurring low grade coups.

The turbulent relationship between Rogoff and Sound Transit is a testament that public and government officials are no longer evaluated judged for competency or merit, rather the juvenile behavior trends of inner office politics. (Note to bureaucrats- you can be the worst of the worst administrator and innovator, and your job and pension is safe as long as you are not mean.) God bless the accountability in managing public funds and the leftist car shaming thugs.
