Former Green Bay Packers Player Carlos Gray Shot To Death In Alabama
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office reported that 25 year-old Gray was found just before 10 p.m. Monday. Sheriff’s deputies and Center Point Fire and Rescue were dispatched to the house after a friend found Gray wounded and unresponsive, according to Al.com.
Responding deputies reported seeing marijuana, digital scales, a handgun and an AK-47 in plain sight inside Gray’s home, the Birmingham news outlet reported. No further details were available.

Chief Deputy Randy Christian told AL.com that Gray’s girlfriend reported she last saw him about an hour earlier when she left the house.
Gray was pronounced dead at 10:17 p.m., Fred Davenport of WVTM-TV in Birmingham reported.
Davenport said Gray was found in the “garage area” and authorities are investigating his “murder.”
Gray graduated from Pinson Valley High School in suburban Birmingham and went to junior college.
He transferred to North Carolina State, where he had 2.5 sacks in his senior season for the Wolfpack, according to ESPN.
The 6-foot-2, 313-pound Gray was undrafted in 2014 but signed with the Packers as a free agent. He reportedly played in four preseason games for Green Bay before he was released in 2015.
He then moved back to Alabama, where he worked “renovating houses, selling cars and working as a party promoter,” according to AL.com.
Gray was the father of two young children whom he adored, his family members said via AL.com.
His former teammates and fans responded to news of Gray’s death on social media.”
