New Poll Says 54% of Voters Say Joe Biden One of ‘Worst Presidents’

February 2, 2022 By Dave Workman

A new Rasmussen survey released Wednesday reveals a stunning 54 percent of likely voters think Joe Biden “will be remembered as one of the worst presidents in American history.”

“Only 15% believe Biden will rank in history as one of America’s best presidents, while 25% think his presidency will be remembered as about average,” Rasmussen reported.

There was no immediate comment from the White House.

Adding insult to injury, the Rasmussen survey also found most voters “rank him below his two immediate predecessors in the White House.” Translation: He’s a worse president than either Donald Trump or Barack Obama.

“Voters have a much higher opinion of former President Donald Trump,” Rasmussen said. “Forty-one percent (41%) think Trump will be remembered as one of America’s best presidents, compared to 43% who believe Trump will rank as one of the worst presidents in U.S. history, and 12% who say Trump’s presidency was about average.”

Predictably, Democrats give Biden higher marks than Republicans or Independents, although only 27 percent of democrats think Biden will be remembered as one of the best presidents, while 39 percent think he’s an “average” president.

Seventy-four percent of Republicans and 62 percent of Independents “believe Biden will be remembered as one of the worst presidents in American history,” the poll revealed.

All of this comes after the Second Amendment Foundation’s January messaging blitz that saw the organization’s 60-second advertisement appearing on several networks including CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, Fox Business, Newsmax TV, One America News Network, Destination America, Bloomberg, BBC America, Discovery Channel, American Heroes Channel, SYFY (Science Fiction), TLC (The Learning Channel), TruTV, DirecTV, The Weather Channel, HLN, Dish TV, and CNBC.

During the last week of January, SAF took its information campaign to the radio airwaves. SAF founder and Executive Vice President Alan Gottlieb said the ramped-up effort was designed to reach as many people as possible because of concerns the Biden White House may need to launch a renewed attack on guns because they’ve lost on every other issue.

“With virtually every one of his major campaign promises being defeated,” Gottlieb said, “what remains is an attack on the Second Amendment.”

The radio campaign began airing Jan. 24 on the following national programs: Hugh Hewitt, Sebastian Gorka, Larry Elder, Charlie Kirk, Lars Larson, Ben Shapiro, Brian Kilmeade, Guy Benson, Mark Levin and Dana Loesch.

Rasmussen’s Daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows the Delaware Democrat with a minus-28 Presidential Approval Index rating, up two points from Tuesday’s -30. However, only 20 percent of likely voters “strongly approve” of his job performance, while 48 percent “strongly disapprove.”
