Solar Scandal- The Convoluted Mess Involving The Biden Administration

May 7, 2022 By Conn Williamson

The nursery rhyme capturing the scandalous essence of the environmental movement reads like an uninspired haiku. “Global freezing so they say, leads to warming and crises today, because of science, because of science.”

Of course, the sketchy progression stemming from the general belief that earth was heading towards a cooling trend, was eventually reversed in the 1990’s as researchers predicted the climate heating up, which has devolved into the fear-mongering and cottage industry promote trillion dollar marketplace of the contemporary “climate crises”.

The frenzy has afflicted politicians and activists alike, has the Greta Thunberg and Jay Inslee approach to hysteria has sparked a nonsensical approach that has actually worsened conditions in the short-term, as idealists somehow believe that the third world has the resources to enforce environmental standards, while at the same time shouldering the brunt of green technology manufacturing concerns. The lucrative scam based on shaming the average individual of the industrialized world has reached such a surreal level of debauchery that the handlers of Biden are now targeting the solar panel industry, citing unethical business practices.

Good intentions are not the issue with the Green New Deal, rather than the propensity to rush into mass producing an idea that looks good on paper, yet is grossly inefficient on all levels of development, as traditional energy sources are phased out, and power shortages occur with experimental technology overtaking the reliable rock solid trio of coal, oil, and nuclear plants. The most egregious example of reactionary policy has severely compromised the electrical grid of Germany, as one of the most robust and modern economies faces brownouts due to underperforming wind and solar complexes. After all, sunlight is an abundant commodity in Northern Europe.

Speaking of Helios the sun god, a government probe investigating the bulk of solar panel producers, housed in four Southeast Asia nations, has allegedly found that key materials for completion are imported from China, which in the end circumvents US tariffs, and abuses the basis of common sense. While the process to produce the panels requires a disproportional abundance of energy and thus a significant environmental impact, the reality that firms from the Western world have monopolized and outsourced an obscure region of planet to subversively build and then profit off the gullibility of American and European consumers. In the absence of grasping the fundamental tenets of thermodynamics and net energy balance equations, heavy magnitudes of propaganda amounts to an inaccurate portrayal of the physical world with the near future at risk of facing Germany’s fate of electrical shortages created by policy, and not based on available supply.

Ironically, the involvement of the Biden presidency within the controversy goes against the directive of the administration, which could infuriatingly culminate in a shortage of electricity in an age of massive power requirements as the gravitation to digital makes the analogue obsolete. While reasonable citizens brace for the next stone age, the solar industry has reached a daunting impasse, in the most unlikely of scenarios. However, the disjoined approach to governance by Democratic lawmakers is the culprit for what could be lengthy delays in filling orders, which has skeptics and critics smiling politely.

After years of forceful guilt tripping laced with moral superiority by activists, hopefully the burgeoning scandal will exemplify to the average person of how much of sham fast-tracking unproven technologies that are theoretically justified on cocktail napkins. An ambitious solar project on the outskirts of the Las Vegas metroplex is the icon for Green New Deal megaprojects that do not meet expectations. According to the Associated Press, the $2.2 billion Ivanpah Solar power facility has grossly underperformed, and requires natural gas to facilitate garnering electricity. Heavily subsidized, including a $168 million infusion of capital from Google, the gesture shows big tech’s fetish and involvement in propagating the Green industry.

While third world nations will always remain as the furtive testing grounds for the will and impudence of those perpetuating seemingly good ideas in a “feel good” adherence to vibes that transcend practicality, the current infrastructure of the pretended strive for innovation remains an epic farce. However, this unsettling phenomenon is counteracted by the manipulation and hysteria generating platitudes with evidence banished to the DMZ.

The classic anecdote of the hydrologist approaching the city council representing an arid climate and promoting smart irrigation and instead of being lauded for providing effective advice, is criticized, as the utility district is pressing for customers to use more. This troubling example of bureaucracy is at the crux of the questionable interpretation of reality by proponents of the green industry. While the time-tested processes of the planet continue to be ignored for the convenience of those forwarding an agenda, that is not necessarily conducive to progress, the climate suffers as a result on both an environmental and procedural level. The distribution of blue collar jobs aside and the economic detriment caused by the reliance of “sweat shops” to obscure the failing business framework of unsustainable infrastructure is simply a duct-tape solution in preventing a widespread leak that plagues all of society. With innovation at a premium, mere guerilla and antiquated tactics of business are commonplace within the progressive mindset in the age of the participation trophy, where nobody is a winner, and mediocrity festers.

When the unsettling equation is looked at from high above and all variables are cancelled out, in the end it is all about the hive performing calculated feats of self-preservation, with innovation and individuality victims to the exponential growth of government, where free will perishes.
