Portlandia Once Again Hails As The Antithesis To Sensibility

September 10, 2017 By Conn Williamson

The quaint Northwest corner of the continuous 48 states is compensating for the apparent media bias of the East Coast and paltry news coverage by highlighting politicians marred by hypocrisy and the abstract notion that the earth will one day exist as a destination for universal hand holding and an idealistic seance, bordering on the auspices of a cult, in selectively celebrating the greatness of humankind and adhering to the myths of the “blank slate” and the “noble savage”.

Portland mayor Ted Wheeler, whose egregious decisions in losing control of the city in yielding to the demands of counter cultural movements as displayed by the affliction of the early stages of the Stockholm syndrome in prompting a passive ban on any reasonable or orchestrated response to the madness and insanity of antifa and other groups set on destroying the democratic fabric of the nation, has set the bar of tyranny at a new all time low. Couple Wheeler’s actions with the open socialistic tendencies of Seattle city council member Kshama Sawant, and the slumbering volcanoes of the mighty Cascade Mountain range pale in comparison to the immediate threat of the plague of narcissistic bureaucrats to the plausible future of societal and corporate progress in Washington and Oregon.

Sunday was another day for the Rose City as violent protesters chose to enact intolerance and incessant disdain for the First Amendment in causing another major disturbance. Fox New reports that seven members of the antifa were arrested after causing a ruckus downtown, which included the use of a smoke bomb and objects thrown in disrupting the actions of law enforcement professionals. In the latest attempt to utilize desperate and illegal measures to effectively silence a group with counter values and ideals, the madness of a few bad apples continues to pervade in not only frustrating a large population of American society, but more importantly creating an intolerable situation for businesses, residents and tourists of major metro areas in pursuing a base level of life and liberty. Unfortunately, these behaviors are allowed to persist by spineless politicians fueled by ulterior motives.
