In a country with skyrocketing gun sales and a 20 year gun homicide decline, you have to give some credit to the Commander in Chief. Not that it was exactly what he had in mind, but as Barack tightens the noose on the Second Amendment, more and more Americans are taking their safety into their own hand.
GUN SALESMAN OF THE YEAR!
The poll results are rather ironic as once again, for all of his efforts, Obama achieved the exact opposite of his intention. The gun industry should thank Barack, for being the “Gun Salesman of the Year.” An accolade that, however it was earned, has indeed contributed to our common goal, to make America safe.
After a steady decline in gun homicide, more homes are reporting having a firearm that ever before, reports a Pew Research Center poll on gun ownership. The poll found that 44 percent of American homes now have a gun in the house. As the data below shows, a majority of the respondents were self-identified Democrats and Hillary supporters.
The Pew Research Center didn’t break those numbers out for American’s attitude about background checks, an assault weapon ban, mental health concerns or other gun issues, but it shows a significant increase in gun ownership over the past 20 years among both parties.
What was Obama’s greatest gift to America? Assuring that there will never be another President Clinton!
