The US, UK and France joined forces to launch strikes against targets within Syria after a deadly chemical weapons attack by the regime of President Bashar al-Assad.

Not long after news broke late Friday evening of the combined US, UK, and France airstrike against the Syrian regime, Twitter saw a deluge of reactions pouring in from all sides of the political spectrum.

According to ijr.com:

Media personalities split the bill — some were in support of the decision, some were indifferent, and others were opposed.

MSNBC “Morning Joe” co-host Joe Scarborough seemed to support the move, even praising Trump’s calling out Russian President Vladimir Putin by name:

Former Fox News anchor Eric Bolling admitted that while he didn’t necessarily agree with the decision to involve the U.S., he thought Trump’s hand was all but forced:

CNN’s Chris Cuomo, however, seemed to think the decision was a bad idea:

NBC’s Megyn Kelly took the moment to simply thank the “men and women in uniform”:

Friday night’s airstrikes were aimed largely at compounds associated with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s chemical weapon’s program, as confirmed by General Joseph Dunford late that evening during a press conference with Secretary of Defense James Mattis.

Mattis, for his part, warned of a possible disinformation campaign in the coming days and promised to remain as transparent as he was able in an effort to combat such a campaign.”
