This possibly leads to an insane precedent where imagination supersedes law.
While there do exist individuals who do face the daily struggle of being trapped within their own flesh from birth, the popularity contest of those striving for attention through social media by choosing an obscure identifier is a growing concern for the majority and a scathing mockery to individuals afflicted by mismatched biology.

In a plausible scenario over the next decade a (They) could conceivably claim that (Their) five personalities are each a naturalized citizen. The effects on all facets of society could be daunting. On a surface level, would (They) be eligible to receive five ballots for an election, or five separate drivers licenses? In all seriousness, the courts would at least be obligated to explore and weigh this issue, based on the guarantees outlined in the Bill of Rights and the Constitution. Digging deeper into the rabbit hole, could (They) choose to allocate two of their identities to being children, and then claim the identities as dependents for tax benefits? How about the same individual holding multiple firearm licenses? At this point the game of dress-up becomes serious and chaos is imminent.
If one can imagine it, it is probably true.
Currently, the confusing and destructive ideology of special interests dominates the headlines in the corporatized media, clogs the legal system, kills small business, is on the verge of cancelling women’s sports, and dumbs down language. While the trajectory of society veers towards a homicidal circus, the doom and gloom is only exacerbated by the fact that one cannot reason with an anthill, and in the absence of compromise, the next step is cultural war.
