Okay, buying your way to cool is just not as cool as innate coolness. However, Boxer Floyd Mayweather’s $4.8 million diamond coated hotty is still really a Cool Car.
The Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita rules as the most expensive street-legal production car in the world because it is literally coated in diamonds.
The Swedish manufacturer developed a new exterior finish specifically for the Trevita called the Koenigsegg Proprietary Diamond Weave, which involves coating carbon fibers with diamond dust-impregnated resin. Under the diamond coated hood you’ll find a 1,004 horsepower 4.8-liter, dual-supercharged V8 with 797 pound-feet of torque. It should do just fine on the Autobahn. It’s considered a production care even thought there were only three ever made.
