RED FLAGS IGNORED AGAIN: ‘Born To Kill’ Texas Shooter Posts About Killing, Guns Online

May 18, 2018 By Erik Walters

Students said the alleged gunman was wearing a shirt with the words “Born to Kill” on it as well as a trench coat and army boots, KIAH-TV reported. Students told the news station it’s possible the suspect had been bullied.

The suspect intended to kill himself but gave up and told authorities he did not have the courage to take his own life, officials said.

Grace Johnson, a senior at Santa Fe High School, told Fox News’ Dana Perino the suspect was someone she considered to be “very, very sweet” and not someone who would raised suspicions.

“It’s honestly, it’s really sad because you don’t know why they did this,” she said.

According to Hannity.com, just hours after a 17-year-old student opened fire at Santa Fe High School in southeast Texas, new questions are being raised over whether local authorities and school officials missed multiple red flags that could have averted the deadly assault.

Fox News reported that the suspected gunman -identified as Dimitrios Pagourtzis- reportedly published disturbing posts on social media; including a “born to kill” shirt as well as images and writings on firearms.

“The caption, according to the news station, read, ‘We all die sometime.’ He also posted photos of guns, knives and a coat with Nazi insignias,” writes Fox News.

The suspect is currently being held at the Galveston County Jail on capital murder charges, with no possibility of bond, confirmed local police.

Pagourtzis reportedly opened fire in the high school’s art classroom, killing nine students and one teacher and injuring ten others before surrendering to law enforcement.
